  • First, from the Start menu in Windows, Search and open File Explorer.
  • Now look for the QuickBooks.exe file in the QB folder.

  • Now, attempt to open your company file; if you can, the issue is with the program.
  • But if you cannot, then check the following.
  • Try opening a sample file once the same way and see if it opens.
